The project involves the design of a contemporary residence that explores the coexistence of solidity and lightness. The architectural composition is rooted in clean massing, where white, prismatic volumes intersect and interact, generating a dynamic geometric identity.
At the base level, the incorporation of dark stonemasonry grounds the building, providing texture and necessary privacy from the street fabric. In contrast to this heavy plinth, the upper floor is characterized by a continuous filter of vertical wooden louvers. This brise-soleil element unifies the facades, serving as a bioclimatic shading mechanism while casting an ever-changing play of light and shadow across the interior.
The rear facade opens up entirely to the private garden and the elongated swimming pool. Large, minimalist glass panels on the ground floor dissolve the boundaries between inside and outside, elevating the outdoor living experience. During the evening, carefully integrated linear lighting accentuates the plasticity of the volumes, transforming the residence into a luminous architectural sculpture.
