The design concept of the GG Skincare Center in Corinth reinterprets clinical care through a sculptural and organic architectural vocabulary. The primary objective was to forge a wellness space that departs from the sterile, rigid aesthetics of traditional clinics, offering an immersive environment of relaxation and quiet luxury.
The spatial layout is guided by fluid, curvilinear geometries that sweep across walls and ceilings. A striking, undulating recessed light band is seamlessly integrated into the vertical partitions, serving as the central visual anchor of the interior. Successive arches introduce depth, framing the treatment areas and choreographing a rhythmic transition from the reception to the clinical rooms. Custom mirrors in irregular, organic shapes and translucent fabric drapes enhance privacy while maintaining a soft, continuous flow of light.
Materiality is anchored in a refined, monochromatic palette of off-whites and soft earth tones, texturally elevated by raw, rugged natural stone wall paneling. The custom furniture, including the minimalist reception desk and consulting stations, echoes the smooth contours of the space. Ultimately, the carefully studied indirect lighting accentuates the plasticity of the forms, crafting an atmosphere of profound tranquility.
